orchard glory 2007

the three and a half days of church camp just flew by... and like jono, i think a lot of us are suffering from what he calls PCD [post-camp depression].

we were back at Orchard Glory this year, and it's as lovely as ever. the water level of the lake is a little lower than before though, and there were seven geese two years ago, now there are only five.

the speaker this year, Rev. Geoff Wesslake was interesting. his talks are really deep, and you can see how complex his thoughts are. some of the things he talked about really hit me, and it was a true learning experience.

many thanks to the aunties who made really great food for all of us. it's not easy to cook for a couple of hungry, chinese people, let alone 50.

apart from the spiritual, there is also the fellowship. camp is always good for getting to know people better.

there was some sisterly bonding...
by the bonfire

quite a bit of brotherly bonding...
the guys of chalet 20.

some found themselves in nature...

and there was even some human-animal bonding...

it's all too much to say in one post. but it was a great camp.tiring, but fun.

happy birthday again Tan. sorry about the dampness. thanks for organizing such an awesome camp.
