rum and raisin

i've noticed that for the almost two months i've been working, my hours have been steadily increasing each week. [not cause i'm a good worker, it's cause i'm cheap. my wages aren't bad, but they are at their lowest at their moment]. anyway, this week, i got less hours than the last three weeks, so i was like "AHA. not so much work this week!" then the boss gives me two extra shifts which brings my hour tally up EVEN HIGHER THAN IT WAS LAST WEEK, which i thought was pretty high. shockingly, i'm not complaining. cause, me being the pathetic jellyfish that i am, it's not like i have anything BETTER to do. so sad, but so undeniably true.

half proceeds go to the unreasonably-expensive-but-totally-kick-ass-camera foundation which shall eventually help buy the said unreasonably expensive but totally kick-ass camera for a would be ecstatic girl*.

*the 'girl' fact might be
argued by some, as this particular 'girl' does not display half as many 'girl' traits as she should. e.g. the ability to distinguish the colour maroon from the colour burgundy from the colour scarlett. who the hell can do that anyway?

so richard and jane drove my mum's car to pick me up from work at 9.30 just now. MAN, i must've looked so surprised cause they both just cracked up. then, i very generously donated my rum and raisin ice-cream to richard, which might not have been a very good idea cause it contains alcohol and he was the driver.
i went over to their house, where i got my first glimpse of ANDREW since he touched down. his head is still massive. and that is all i will comment on for the moment.

my tongue hurts cause i just ate very very hot maggi soup noodles - oriental flavour, in case you're wondering. baghdatis is kicking ljubicic's butt on court right now. he's become one of my favourite players to watch cause HE'S SO GOOD. he beat roddick, but he really deserved to win that match the way he did.

i want him to win, then absolutely cream federer in the final. that would be AWESOME. cause he's such a good player.
